We were feeling like such good homeowners. Saturday night we replaced our front porch lights and furnace filter. Well, we tried anyway. The porch lights weren't the problem.
Jeff went into the basement to replace the furnace filter. He slid the old one out. He slid the new one in. The furnace stopped working....just like that. He said there were wires protruding out of the furnace and the filter hit one and everything just shut down.
Jeff tried for three hours to fix it. Nothing happened. He called our furnace guy to come by Monday morning.
Our home teachers were over yesterday. Andrew told us that he did that once and blew a fuse on the sensor. It cost him a pretty penny to have it fixed.
I am preparing for the worst. This is me we're talking about, after all.

ah, the joys of home ownership. We just had Edward replace our banister since it was about to fall over. I love it when the people before you just throw things up and don't really care if they're safe, just as long as they last until someone buys the house...best of luck to you.
So I am really behind, but what was the damage?
